 A photo must be sent to flowers@amborella.ca immediately after delivery has been successful (within 3 hours of the arrival) for credit requests claims to be considered.

We guarantee our flowers to thrive for 24 hours after shipment has been fulfilled. Some individual stems will outlast others. This is normal. If you are not satisfied with your flowers' longevity or quality you must send an email to: flowers@amborella.ca within 24 hours of receiving the package with a description and a photo for any credit request to be accepted or considered. Partial refunds will be issued for the value of the stems that have been affected, not the entire bouquet. Refunds are only issued in the form of a in-store credit to the customer that is usable for future orders.

If the flower's do not arrive on the date that was selected, we need to know right away. Get in touch with us by sending an email to flowers@amborella.ca or call us during business hours at 403-386-0330 to speak with someone immediately.

Cancellation requests must be submitted to us by email flowers@amborella.ca. Orders for delivery must be cancelled prior to the day of the original delivery date. An in-store credit will be issued for your next order with us. 

Burlap Bouquets


Burlap Bouquets


On arrival:

1) Remove the burlap and bag containing the water source. Do not cut the wired tie holding the bouquet together.

2) Recycle the packaging :)

3) Fill a clean vessel with warm water. Ideally, you want to ensure that its pretty full, so that all stems are in water and the vase is heavy to avoid tipping over when the flowers are placed in.

4) Firmly hold the flowers and remove the wired tie.

5) Cut the stems with pruning shears or a pairing knife (not sizzors!) on an extreme angle proportionally to size of the vase. Please be careful!

6) Immediately place the stems into the vessel after cutting  their ends. This is important for the flowers to be properly hydrated. Tip: Shorter stems last longer.

7) Enjoy!

Next day:

Change the water and re-cut the stems every day to maximize the life of your blooms. (IF you REALLY want them to last long, place them into your fridge at night before you go to bed)

 

If some blooms are dehydrated:

1) Remove the individual affected stem from the vase.

2) Fill your sink with 2 (ish) inches of water.

3) Cut the end of the stem on an angle and immediately lie it horizontally into the water. Ensure the end of the stem is submerged.

4) Let it soak for approximately one hour

5) Remove the stem and gently shake access water off the blooms. It should be perky and strong.

6) Cut the end again and immediately place back into the vessel.

 

** This will only work if the flower is weak, dehydrated, but not dried out.

1) Top up the vase with warm water (in case some spilled over while on route to you)

2) Place in a cool area away from drafts and direct sunlight

3) Enjoy!

We may require to call the recipient prior to delivery. Especially in winter months.

We do not deliver on Sundays at this time.

There is a selection on our order form that is for outside the city of Calgary. If the customer selects the delivery charge incorrectly an additional delivery charge may apply after the order has been made. We will call you to inform you of the additional charge. Orders made that are beyond our delivery zone will be refunded.

Same day delivery cut off is 1PM for all SW and SE addresses.

Downtown NW and NE deliveries must be recieved by 11AM. Additional fees may apply if it is after 11am.

Rush Orders

For order requests that require delivery within a 3 hour window or less, or after our 1 pm cut off time please call us to place the order. A $20+ delivery charge may apply - depending on the address and time of the call.

We cannot guarantee any delivery with a window of 1 hours or less.

The driver will make every effort to get the flowers to the recipient with the information given. Our driver will attempt delivery once. If there are complications we communicate with our customers and recipients via text message. We may leave it on the front step if weather permits us to do so. A notification text message will be sent out to the customer so they can follow up with the recipient later in the day.

Second Attempt


Second Attempt


If no one is home and the driver isn't able to connect with the customer or recipient, and we feel that leaving it on the front step is not suitable due to temperature or weather conditions we will bring it back to the shop and wait until we receive more information. If an additional delivery attempt is needed a secondary delivery fee will apply. We will contact you by phone if this is necessary. 

Second deliveries may be sent out the following day. (If this happens on a Saturday, the flowers will be re-sent on Monday)

Workshop Cancellation Policy


Workshop Cancellation Policy


In-store credits are issued if the workshop no longer works with your schedule and you can not make it. 

 

We require 48 hour notice if you are unavailable to attend the workshop in order to qualify for an in store credit. 

The in-store credit can be used for a workshop on a different date or another Amborella product or service. 

 

No-shows are not eligible for an in-store credit.
